Dr.FT (Solly) Preller is a registered Professional Quantity Surveyor. Dr. Preller was an Extraordinary Professor in the Department of Construction Economics, Faculty Engineering, Built Environment and Information Technology, University of Pretoria and retired in 2005.

In addition to being the Chairman of PCN Projects (Pty) Ltd and PCN Property Management (Pty) Ltd, Dr. Preller is involved in the capacities of Chairman, Trustee, Shareholder/Owner and/or Director of other primarily property related companies and/or individual properties as well as trusts. Educational qualifications include the degrees of BSc (QS), MSc (QS) and PhD as well as successfully completing numerous Advanced Executive and Property Development Programmes both in South Africa and in the USA.

Fields of specialisation include:

Property Development, Financial and Business Management and Strategic Planning. Since 1986 the various companies and trusts have successfully acquired, developed and managed, or is currently developing properties to the total value of some R1,4 billion.
